Sam Cole - FILMMAKER / CREATOR

Sam Cole is a filmmaker and creative producer making content for top brands such as Nike, Visionaire, G-Shock, Timberland, and Universal Music to name a few. He directed, shot and produced the independent Hip Hop film Danchi No Yume / Dreams of the Projects about Anarchy Japan’s legendary underground hip hop artist. In addition, he directed music videos for Nitro Microphone Underground, Ai, Dev Large, Head Automatica, Anarchy, and Big Noble. In 2020, Sam launched MAKEBELIEVE.WORLD a creative content studio with his brother author August Cole.

August Cole is an author exploring the future of conflict through fiction and other forms of “FICINT” [Fictional Intelligence] storytelling. His talks, short stories, and workshops have taken him from speaking at the Nobel Institute in Oslo to presenting at SXSW Interactive to tackling the “Dirty Name” obstacle at Fort Benning. With Peter W. Singer, he is the co-author of the best-seller “Ghost Fleet: A Novel of the Next World War” (2015) and “Burn In: A Novel of the Real Robot Revolution” (2020). In 2020, Cole joined forces with his filmmaker brother to create MAKEBELIEVE.WORLD a content and new media studio to develop stories and films that address and imagine future outcomes of today’s challenges.
